Ever since I've been remaking maps (or to be more precise, ever since I've been remaking maps that look anything like what they used to :), I've been getting hassled to remake DM6. Well I had this crappy cold over the weekend; I couldn't go out, I couldn't really do very much brainwork, so remaking a simple map seemed like a pretty good plan.
As remakes go, it's probably a little on the large side. As such, it's probably more suited to FFA and 2v2 than 1v1. No real perfect answer: if you made it much smaller, you'd start encountering gameplay oddities from being to small on the vertical. As usual, if you want to play something that's identical to the original, play the original! If you want some nostalgia, or a "new" map that you don't have to learn, download and have a blast.
